George’s life has been filled with many ups and downs…from growing up poor in the projects of South Philly to destroying his back while working as a liquor salesman. He has been knocked down many times but he never gave up. Not when he fell through a window while in basic training in the army, which earned him a service connected disability, or when circumstances beyond his control led to the closing of what was once a very successful business or even when Microsoft turned him down 4 times when he applied for a job. No, he never stayed down. He always got back up and in the end after a very successful 20 year career at Microsoft he is ready to capture these inspirational and motivational stories in his book “Get Back Up.”
