It started with the idea of recording a Christmas CD for his mother. But George A. Santino, 56, a recently retired partner at Microsoft, doesn’t like to do anything halfway.
The Woodinville man found a recording studio and started taking voice lessons. Not having enough time to get a CD out by Christmas, Santino instead put together a collection of music from the era of Frank Sinatra that he sent to his mom for Mother’s Day. He started selling his album on Amazon, iTunes and CD Baby. Two of his songs, “That’s Life” and “Come Fly With Me,” have become the No. 1 new releases in the jazz swing genre on Amazon. Read More
